There are many reasons that lead teenagers and youngsters nowadays getting involved with cyber love. One of the reason is the exposure of the usage of technologies such as internet and handphone. As we know nowadays that this kind of technologies is very familiar with teenagers. Teenagers usually know about this technologies since they were young. Almost everyone can afford to buy their own handphone, even to buy a laptop. So,they will used to join the social website,for example yahoo messanger, myspace,facebook, and so on,which is a place for us to interact with other people in the world.
The second reasons is lack of knowledge about the risks of cyber love. Statistics has shown that many of criminal cases happen in blind date, for instant, rape,and kill.Some teenagers,they are not realizing the risks of falling in love in cyber. It is because,they might be cheated or fooled by their couple in cyber.Sometimes,the victims are not nobody,but people with great background,high educated,and have a good job.But,they still can be fooled by others.
On top of that,curiousity is also one of the reasons which lead the teenagers to fall in love in cyber.Some teenagers,they might be curious to know what is cyber love,and what are the feeling of falling in love in cyber.From the survey that had been done in Faculty of Social Science And Humanities in National University Of Malaysia(UKM),two over five responden agrees that curiousity is one of the factors that can lead teenagers and youngsters nowadays to fall in love in cyber. Experience of people near by them also can make the teenagers to fall in love in cyber.
The next reason is, lack of attention and monitoring from parents. Some parents nowadays are too busy with their works and they do not have enough quality time to spend with their children. So, their children may feel boring and lonely. To overcome this feeling, no wonder that the children will join the social website to find some friends and it will be easiest for them to fall in love in cyber.
The fifth reason is, commitment to jobs or studies. Some teenagers and youngsters sometimes are too busy with works,classes, and assignment.So, they did not have enough time to get to know people around them and to enjoy their life outside. Since internet and handphone is the easiest way to communicate with people around them, they will use this medium as the way to get to know people and to find some entertainments. There is no wonder that they can get involved with cyber love.
Last but not least, the reason why teenagers get involved with cyber love as it is the easiest ways for teenagers to get an instant couple without meeting or overreacting, especially for whom who did not have a couple yet. Futhermore, it is also the medium to find for a soulmate, for married purpose or just for fun.
hello..i think, teenagers get involved with cyber love because lack of knowledge about the risk of cyber love. furthermore, teenagers nowadays live in it world. so, they are exposed with the cyber love. when they find out that their friends have a couple so they also want to have a couple too. they think cyber love is a easy way to get a instant couple without meet or overacting. in cyber, they can pretend to be other person without knowing by the other contact in cyber.

Education nowadays changed lots, teenagers have to tuition always so that can get a good results. so,time for them exposing to activities become lesser. MOst of them spent time online download movie,it's free , and chatting with friends by facebook, friendster. so, it's easy for them to in love in cyber love than reality love. they find more friends during online in cyber world. especially to those who are more enthusiasm, more easier they fall in love.maybe , their curiousity made them feel want to try it . written by, hooi theng.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Nowadays, internet is a norm. From everywhere to most every digital gadgets. It's easy to connect with people. With internet, comes a LOT of social-networking sites. You name it... Facebook, Friendster, MySpace, Twitter, chatting room...etc...
It's just on your fingertips.
As we may concern, since we were once a teenager (or some are STILL teenagers LOL) have enormous curiosity towards almost everything.
Therefore, they have the tendency to try out new things and what could be more exciting than a 'cyber love'? the 'cyber' tag itself is an attraction, right.
Yeah, so I think that's why.
Because phones and laptops with the latest features are the 'coolest' and 'IN' thing in the teenage world. No one wants to be left out.
